The Pantone 2022 Color of the Year is a very different color than last year, Ultimate Gray (gray, yes...that's so 2021).  As we move towards the hope of a vibrant and happy 2022, Very Peri (Pantone No. 17-3938) is a rich shade of periwinkle.  Any shade of purple always gives me a soothing and peaceful feeling; purple also resembles royalty.   Very Peri is the color that reflects and embraces what is yet to come; it exudes optimism and signifies a bright, joyful, and peaceful 2022 is ahead of us!

Now, why don't we move on to the Spring/Summer 2022 New York Fashion Week Pantone Color Palette Release?

I love the thoughts Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute, has for the new color palette; she says, “Colors for Spring 2022 bring together our competing desires for comforting familiarity and joyful adventure through a range of soothing and timeless colors, along with joyous hues that celebrate playfulness. As we enter this new landscape, one where fashion rules no longer apply, hues for Spring 2022 allow us to mix and marry as we please, encouraging the exploration of new chromatic realities, opening the door for personalized style and spontaneous color statements.”

Stay tuned!  I look forward to searching for YOUR perfect attire, accessories, and jewelry to pair with these fabulous new 2022 colors, Sis!
